These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of onebooklist.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service
OneBookList is a platform for sharing book recommendations and personal stories. Some features require signing in with Google.

Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind it.

Accounts and Security

You sign in using Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

User Content
4.1 Your ownership
You keep ownership of the content you submit (“User Content”).

4.2 License you grant us
By submitting User Content, you grant OneBookList a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the Service. This includes showing your story publicly and featuring it inside the Service. If you do not want your story featured outside the Service (for example, on social media), contact us at [EMAIL] and we will respect reasonable requests.

4.3 Your responsibilities
You agree that your User Content:

Is yours or you have permission to post it.

Does not violate law or infringe rights (copyright, trademark, privacy).

Is not illegal, hateful, harassing, pornographic, or spammy.

Does not include sensitive personal data of others (addresses, phone numbers, private info).

Moderation and Review
We may review, approve, reject, or request changes to submissions. We may remove content or suspend accounts at any time to enforce these Terms and keep the community safe. The site states that admins review submissions and may add covers and affiliate links.

Book Covers and Metadata
Book covers, titles, and author names may be displayed for identification. Those materials may be owned by publishers or other rights holders. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact: piotrzkowski.jan@gmail.com

Affiliate Disclosure
Some book links use Amazon or Audible affiliate programs.
This means we may earn a commission if you click a link and make a purchase. Prices and availability are controlled by the third party, not us.

Third Party Links and Services
The Service may link to third party sites (such as Amazon). We do not control third party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

Scrape the Service excessively, probe, or attempt to break security.

Create fake accounts, manipulate likes, or spam.

Upload malware or interfere with the Service.

Disclaimers

Book recommendations are opinions shared by users. We do not guarantee results or outcomes from any book.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneBookList will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OneBookList from claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or users.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of [VENUE], unless required otherwise by law.
